Dr. Philipp Göbels first month at Kreussler

It feels like I only started yesterday – and at the same time, a lot has already happened in these first weeks as Managing Director at Kreussler Group.

The first month has been intense, fast-paced, and full of new impressions.

Over the past weeks, I have immersed myself in the business, met colleagues across the organization, and gained a firsthand understanding of what drives the company. What has impressed me most is the combination of deep expertise, strong commitment, and a genuine desire to continuously develop, improve, and move things forward. I have encountered a team that is proud of what has been built over many years and equally motivated to further develop it.

Joining Kreussler brings together several aspects that have shaped my career so far: healthcare, regulated markets, manufacturing, international business, and the opportunity to help shape an organization’s future.

The company combines a clear commitment to manufacturing and value creation in Germany with a truly global footprint. Products developed and manufactured in Germany are supported by marketing authorizations in more than 30 countries and reach patients and customers worldwide through our own subsidiaries and a strong network of international partners. The portfolio covers both prescription (Rx) and over-the-counter (OTC) products, combining clinical depth with direct patient access in regulated pharmaceutical markets, and expanding my perspective across the full breadth of pharmaceutical care.

At a time when Germany as a pharmaceutical and industrial location faces increasing challenges, it is essential to continue investing in innovation, manufacturing capabilities, and long-term competitiveness. Companies that remain committed to developing and producing in Germany play an important role in strengthening both healthcare systems and the broader economy.

The international perspective is also a key part of my new role. This week, I will be travelling to China to meet one of our key distribution partners and gain further insights into one of the world's most dynamic healthcare markets. Direct exchange with customers, partners, and local teams remains essential for understanding market needs and building sustainable growth.
While I have started a new chapter professionally, I remain grateful for the relationships and experiences that have shaped the previous one. I look forward to staying connected with colleagues and partners across the medical cannabis and broader healthcare sectors and continuing the exchange on innovation, regulation, patient access, and the future of healthcare.
